In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Add 2 tbsp of water.

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty shape.

Prepare the stuffing: In a small bowl, mix the crumbled white cheese with the ajvar.

Place a generous spoonful of the ajvar and cheese mixture onto the center of two of the flattened patties. Cover with the remaining two patties, and carefully seal the edges to form a stuffed patty.

Preheat your grill or a grill pan to medium-high heat.

Grill the Punjena Pljeskavica for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely charred.
