- Dark soy sauce3 tbsp
- Light soy sauce1 tbsp
- Cornstarch1 tbsp
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Onion1/2 medium, sliced
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Water1/4 cup
- Sugar1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Toss thinly sliced beef with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk together dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sugar, and water.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
