Bahan
- Beef sirloin or flank steak500g
- Malaysian chili paste (sambal tumis)3-4 tbsp
- Garlic, minced2 cloves
- Onion, sliced1/2 medium
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Water2 tbsp
- Red chilies, slicedfor garnish
- Spring onions, slicedfor garnish

Slice beef thinly against the grain.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic and sliced onion until fragrant.

Add the Malaysian chili paste and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the sliced beef. Stir-fry until the beef is browned and cooked through.

Stir in soy sauce, sugar, salt, and water. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
