- boneless goat meat, cubed750 g
- coconut milk200 ml
- potatoes, cubed2 medium
- carrots, sliced1 medium
- onion, chopped1 medium
- garlic, minced3 cloves
- ginger, grated1 cm
- lemongrass, bruised1 stalk
- Mamak spice mix (coriander, cumin, fennel)2 tbsp
- turmeric powder1 tsp
- saltto taste
- black pepperto taste
- water1 liter
- cilantro, choppedfor garnish

Heat a little oil in a pot (optional, can also just boil). Sauté chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger until fragrant.

Add the cubed boneless goat meat and brown slightly. Stir in the Mamak spice mix and turmeric powder, cooking for 1 minute until aromatic.

Pour in water and add the bruised lemongrass. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the goat meat is tender.

Add cubed potatoes and sliced carrots. Continue to simmer until vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Stir in the coconut milk. Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
