Bahan

  • Asam Laksa Paste (store-bought)100g
  • Canned Sardines in Tomato Sauce2 cans (approx. 150g each)
  • Water or Fish Stock1.2 liters
  • Tamarind Paste2 tbsp
  • Thick Rice Noodles (Laksa Noodles)400g
  • Pineapple1/4
  • Cucumber1
  • Red Onion1/2
  • Mint Leaves1 bunch
  • Saltto taste
  • Wateras needed

    Drain the canned sardines, reserving some sauce if desired. Flake the fish.

    In a pot, combine asam laksa paste, water/stock, and tamarind paste. Bring to a boil.

    Add flaked sardines and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Season with salt.

    Blanch the thick rice noodles.

    Prepare garnishes: julienne pineapple, cucumber, and red onion. Chop mint.

    Serve noodles in bowls, ladle the broth over, and top with garnishes.
