- Mixed seafood (shrimp, squid)150g
- Shallots100g
- Garlic3 cloves
- Ginger1 inch
- Dried shrimp30g
- Chili paste (sambal)3 tbsp
- Shrimp paste (belacan)1 tsp
- Fish stock or water1 liter
- Peanut butter1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Wateras needed
- Hard-boiled eggs4
- Bean sprouts100g
- Red chilies1
- Fried shallotsfor garnish
- Lime wedgesfor garnish

Boil and mash sweet potatoes. Soak and chop dried shrimp.

Blend or pound shallots, garlic, ginger, chili paste, and shrimp paste into a paste.

Sauté the spice paste until fragrant. Add chopped dried shrimp and cook for 2 minutes.

Add fish stock or water and bring to a boil. Stir in mashed sweet potato and peanut butter until the gravy thickens.

Add the mixed seafood and cook for 3-5 minutes until just cooked through. Do not overcook.
