- Coconut milk300ml
- Carrots1 medium
- Onion1/2 medium
- Garlic cloves2
- Ginger1/2 inch piece
- Malaysian chicken curry powder2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil1 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Wateras needed
- All-purpose flour150g
- Milk200ml
- Egg1
- Salt1/4 tsp
- Vegetable oil1 tsp
- Spring onionsfor garnish

Chop onion, garlic, and ginger finely. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and carrots into small cubes.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.

Add chicken curry powder and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add chicken pieces and carrots. Stir well. Pour in coconut milk and a little water if needed. Bring to a simmer.

Cook until chicken and carrots are tender. Season with salt.

For the Roti Jala: Whisk flour, egg, milk, salt, and oil until smooth. Add water if the batter is too thick.

Heat and lightly grease a non-stick pan. Drizzle batter in a lacy pattern.
