A faster version of traditional Siro Mận, this recipe uses fewer plums and a slightly adjusted cooking method to achieve a delicious plum syrup in less time, perfect for a quick refreshing drink.

- Plums500 g
- Granulated sugar300 g
- Water150 ml

Wash and pit the plums. Cut them into halves or quarters.

In a saucepan, combine plums, sugar, and water. Stir to dissolve sugar.

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer.

Simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until plums are very soft and the liquid has thickened slightly.

Mash the plums with a fork or spoon.

Strain the mixture through a sieve, pressing gently. You can leave some pulp for a thicker texture.

Let cool before serving diluted with water and ice.
