Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Drain the soaked rice and mix with fresh corn kernels, sugar, and salt.

Prepare a steamer. Place the rice and corn mixture in a cheesecloth-lined steamer basket.

Steam the rice for 30-40 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked and tender. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

In a small saucepan, gently heat the coconut milk. Do not boil.

Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl. Drizzle with the warm coconut milk and mix gently.
