Nguyên liệu

  • Pork ribs1.5 kg
  • Honey4 tbsp
  • Soy sauce4 tbsp
  • Fish sauce2 tbsp
  • Garlic4 cloves, minced
  • Shallots2 tbsp, minced
  • Five-spice powder1 tsp
  • Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • Black pepper1/2 tsp
  • Salt1/2 tsp
  • Water2 tbsp
  • Cilantrofor garnish

Các bước

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, fish sauce, minced garlic, minced shallots, five-spice powder, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

  2. 2

Place the pork ribs in a large bowl or resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or preferably 2-4 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).

  3. 3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat to 200°C (400°F).

  4. 4

Remove ribs from marinade, letting excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.

  5. 5

Grill the ribs for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and nicely charred. Baste with a little extra honey in the last few minutes if desired for extra glaze.

  6. 6

Alternatively, bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, turning halfway through, until tender and caramelized. You can broil them for the last few minutes for extra char.

  7. 7

Let the ribs rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
