- Beef sirloin or tenderloin1.5 lbs
- Garlic4 cloves

- Red bell pepper1
- Green bell pepper1
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- Oyster sauce2 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp
- Black pepper1 tsp
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Butter1 tbsp
- Lettuce1 head
- Tomatoes2
- Cucumber1

Cut beef into 1-inch cubes. Mince garlic. Slice onion and bell peppers into strips. Prepare salad ingredients: wash and tear lettuce, slice tomatoes and cucumber.

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Add beef cubes and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and butter in a wok or large skillet over high heat until shimmering. Add marinated beef in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary to avoid crowding). Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove beef from skillet.

Add remaining 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the skillet. Add sliced onions and stir-fry for 1 minute until slightly softened. Add bell peppers and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.

Return the beef to the skillet. Toss everything together for about 30 seconds to heat through.

Serve the Bò Lúc Lắc immediately over a bed of fresh lettuce, garnished with tomato and cucumber slices.
