  • Chinese five-spice powder1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oilfor frying
  • Salt1/2 teaspoon
  • Waterfor rinsing
  • Garlic2 cloves, minced
  • Red chili flakes1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil1 teaspoon

    Gently rinse and cut silken tofu into 1.5-inch cubes. Pat very dry.

    Heat oil in a wok or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
