- Silken tofu2 blocks
- Shiitake mushrooms1 cup, sliced
- Wood ear mushrooms1/2 cup, rehydrated and sliced
- Scallions2 stalks, chopped
- Ginger1 inch piece, minced
- Garlic2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil1 teaspoon
- Salt1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepperpinch
- Waterfor steaming
- Cilantrofor garnish

Gently rinse the silken tofu and place it in a heatproof dish suitable for steaming.

In a small bowl, combine sliced shiitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.

Arrange the mushroom mixture evenly over the tofu.

Sprinkle chopped scallions over the mushrooms.

Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil in a pot or wok. Place the dish with tofu and mushrooms into the steamer.

Cover and steam for 15-20 minutes, or until the tofu is heated through and the mushrooms are tender.

Carefully remove from the steamer. Season with salt and pepper to taste if needed. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
