- Aloe vera cubes1 cup
- Fresh durian flesh1/2 cup, mashed
- Pandan leaves3-4 stalks
- Coconut milk1 can (13.5 oz)
- Water4 cups
- Sugar1/2 cup (or to taste)
- Salt1/4 teaspoon

Rinse and soak the split mung beans for at least 30 minutes, then drain.

Prepare the aloe vera cubes and rinse well.

Cook the mung beans in 4 cups of water until very soft, about 20-25 minutes.

In a separate pot, combine coconut milk, sugar, salt, and pandan leaves. Heat gently until sugar dissolves and flavors infuse (about 10 minutes). Remove pandan leaves.

Mash the fresh durian flesh until smooth.

Add the cooked mung beans, prepared aloe vera, and mashed durian to the pandan-coconut milk mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Simmer for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the durian flavor to meld with the other ingredients. Adjust sweetness.
