- Smoked pork sausage (e.g., Lukanka or similar)300g
- Potatoes300g
- Onions150g
- Red bell pepper1 pc
- Garlic2 cloves
- Tomato paste1 tbsp
- Dry white wine50ml
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Smoked paprika1 tsp
- Black pepperto taste
- Saltto taste
- Wateras needed
- Chopped chivesfor garnish

Cut the pork shoulder into cubes. Slice the smoked sausage into thick rounds.

Peel and chop the potatoes and onions. Seed and chop the red bell pepper. Mince the garlic.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the pork cubes.

Add the chopped onions and bell pepper to the pot and sauté until softened.

Stir in the minced garlic, tomato paste, and smoked paprika. Cook for 1 minute.

Add the sliced smoked sausage and cook for a few minutes until lightly browned.

Pour in the dry white wine and scrape the bottom of the pot.

Add the chopped potatoes. Season with salt and black pepper.

Add enough water to almost cover the ingredients. Bring to a simmer.

Cover the pot and simmer gently on the stovetop or in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the pork and potatoes are tender. Add water as needed.
