  • Fresh mushrooms300g
  • Onion1 large
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Vegetable oil3 tbsp
  • Paprika1 tsp
  • Dried savory1 tsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Water or broth100ml

    Cut pork shoulder into 2-3 cm cubes. Clean and slice mushrooms. Finely chop onion and garlic.

    Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or pot over medium-high heat. Brown the pork cubes on all sides. Remove pork and set aside.

    Add chopped onion to the same pan and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

    Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

    Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they release their liquid and start to brown, about 8-10 minutes.

    Return the browned pork to the pan. Stir in paprika, dried savory, salt, and black pepper.

    Pour in water or broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat, cover, and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until pork is tender.
