Стъпки
- 1
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, ground beef, chopped onion, 2 minced garlic cloves, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, dried mint, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- 2
Form the mixture into small, oval-shaped meatballs (kyufte).
- 3
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the kyufte in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 4
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden, forming a roux.
- 5
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- 6
Stir in the minced garlic for the sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- 7
Return the fried kyufte to the skillet with the white sauce. Gently coat the meatballs and simmer for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 8
Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
