  • Sandalwood powder1/2 cup
  • Frankincense resin1/4 cup
  • Myrrh resin2 tablespoons
  • Rose essential oil1 tablespoon
  • Jasmine essential oil1 tablespoon
  • Musk powder (optional)1 teaspoon

Стъпки

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine the oud wood chips, sandalwood powder, frankincense resin, and myrrh resin. If using musk powder, add it now.

  2. 2

Add the rose and jasmine essential oils to the mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the oils.

  3. 3

Gradually add 1-2 tablespoons of water, mixing until the ingredients clump together slightly, forming a paste-like consistency. Be careful not to make it too wet.

  4. 4

Shape the mixture into small balls or press it into a mold. Allow the bakhur to dry completely in a cool, dry place for at least 24-48 hours.

  5. 5

Once dried, the bakhur is ready to be used. Place a piece on a charcoal burner or an electric incense burner to release its fragrance.
