
Quick Zelnik with Feta and Leeks

- feta cheese300g
- leeks2 large
- eggs2
- fresh dill30g
- vegetable oil2 tbsp
- salt1/2 tsp
- black pepper1/4 tsp
- egg yolk (for brushing)1

Thaw puff pastry according to package instructions. Slice leeks thinly and sauté in vegetable oil until softened. Let cool.

Crumble feta cheese. Chop dill. In a bowl, combine cooled leeks, feta, eggs, dill, salt, and pepper.

Unroll puff pastry sheets. Cut into desired shapes (squares or rectangles).

Place a portion of filling onto one half of each pastry piece. Fold the other half over to enclose the filling, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork.

Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with egg yolk.

Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
