- Ginger-garlic paste2 tbsp
- Garam masala1 tsp
- Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder1 tsp
- Lemon juice1 tbsp

- Onion1 large, finely chopped
- Tomatoes, pureed400g
- Cashew paste2 tbsp
- Heavy cream1/4 cup
- Fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)1 tsp
- Water1/2 cup
- Black pepperto taste

Marinate chicken: Combine chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, red chili powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

Cook chicken: Grill, bake, or pan-fry the marinated chicken until cooked through and slightly charred.

Prepare the gravy: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the masala.

Stir in cashew paste, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.

Add water and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes.

Blend the gravy until smooth (optional, for a silkier texture).

Return gravy to the pan. Add the cooked chicken pieces.

Stir in heavy cream and crushed fenugreek leaves. Simmer gently for 5 minutes without boiling.
