    In a large pot, combine cooked barley and cooked wheat berries with milk. Bring to a gentle simmer.

    Stir in sugar, chopped dried apricots, and raisins. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

    Add rose water and chopped almonds. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

    Serve warm or chilled in bowls, garnished with pomegranate seeds and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
