- Onion1 large
- Carrots2 medium
- Potatoes2 medium
- Bell pepper (red or green)1 medium
- Tomato paste2 tbsp
- Fresh dill1 bunch
- Fresh parsley1/2 bunch
- Bay leaf1
- Vegetable oil3 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Water1.5 liters
- Lemon1/2

Clean and cut the fish into large pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

Chop the onion, carrots, potatoes, and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the carrots and bell pepper, sauté for another 5 minutes.

Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Add the potatoes, bay leaf, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.

Add the fish pieces to the pot. Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Stir in chopped fresh dill and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
