- Ground Pork400 g
- Smoked Bacon150 g
- Onions1 large
- Eggs3 large
- Sour Cream200 g
- Butter30 g
- Vegetable Oil30 ml
- Caraway Seeds1 tsp
- Saltto taste

Peel and slice potatoes thinly. Boil for 5 minutes in salted water, then drain.

Dice the smoked bacon and render its fat in a pan. Remove bacon bits and set aside.

Chop the onion and sauté in the bacon fat (or add oil if needed) until softened. Add the ground pork and cook until browned. Stir in the reserved bacon bits and caraway seeds. Season with salt and pepper.

Layer potatoes and meat mixture in a buttered baking dish.

Whisk eggs and sour cream together. Pour over the moussaka.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45-55 minutes until the topping is golden brown and firm.
