Ingredients

- semi-sweet chocolate chips2 cups

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer or by hand.

Beat in vanilla extract and eggs one at a time until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
