Steps
- 1
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- 2
Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Melt 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs in batches, turning to ensure even browning. Remove meatballs from skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tbsp butter to the skillet. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, to form a roux.
- 5
Gradually whisk in the beef broth and heavy cream until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.

Stir in Worcestershire sauce, allspice, nutmeg, remaining 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Return the meatballs to the skillet.
- 7
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- 8
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
