Ingredients
- Puff pastry sheets or Spring roll wrappers1 package
- Boiled potatoes, mashed2 medium
- Green peas1/4 cup
- Onion, finely chopped1/4 cup
- Ginger, grated1/2 tsp
- Green chili, finely chopped1/2
- Cumin powder1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder1/2 tsp
- Garam masala1/4 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Oil1 tbsp
- Egg wash or milk (for brushing)as needed

Prepare the filling: Sauté onion, ginger, and green chili in oil. Add mashed potatoes, peas, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Let it cool.

If using puff pastry, cut into squares. If using spring roll wrappers, keep them whole. Place a spoonful of filling on one side of each wrapper/pastry.

Fold the pastry/wrapper to create a pocket (triangle, rectangle, or half-moon). Seal the edges firmly, using a little water if needed.

Place the pockets on a baking sheet. Brush with egg wash or milk.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
