  • Turmeric Powder1/4 tsp
  • Saltto taste

  • Pav (Bread Buns)8
  • Oil for Fryingfor shallow frying
  • Store-bought Green Chutneyas needed

Steps

    Boil and mash the potatoes. Let them cool.

    In a bowl, mix besan, ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, salt, and water to form a thin batter, suitable for shallow frying.

    Form flattened, round patties from the mashed potato mixture.

    Heat oil in a shallow pan for shallow frying.

    Dip each potato patty into the besan batter.

    Carefully place the batter-coated patties into the hot oil and shallow fry on both sides until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

    Slice the pav horizontally, creating a pocket.

    Place one fried vada inside the pav. Smear with store-bought green chutney and serve immediately.
