Ingredients

  • Minced lamb750 g
  • Onion1 large
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Mild curry powder3 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs100 g
  • Milk150 ml
  • Apricot jam3 tbsp
  • Raisins30 g
  • Eggs2
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste
  • Bay leaves2

Steps

    Finely chop onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.

    Add minced lamb and brown it. Drain fat.

    Stir in curry powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

    Mix in breadcrumbs, milk, apricot jam, and raisins. Combine well.

    Press mixture into a greased ovenproof dish.

    Place bay leaves on top.

    Whisk eggs and pour over the meat.

    Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 25-30 minutes until golden.
