Ingredients
- Chickpeas (canned, drained and rinsed)1 can (15 oz)
- Tahini1/4 cup
- Lemon juice (bottled or fresh)2 tbsp
- Garlic powder1/2 tsp
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Water2-3 tbsp
- Sumac (for garnish)pinch
Steps

Combine drained chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic powder, olive oil, and salt in a food processor.

Process until smooth, adding water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Taste and adjust seasoning. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with a little extra olive oil, and sprinkle with sumac.
