Ingredients
- Bell peppers4 large
- Ground turkey1 lb
- Instant rice, cooked1.5 cups
- Marinara sauce1.5 cups
- Onion powder1 tsp
- Garlic powder1 tsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Black pepper1/4 tsp
- Shredded cheddar cheese1/2 cup (optional)

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut bell peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Microwave peppers for 3 minutes to slightly soften.

In a skillet, cook ground turkey over medium-high heat until browned. Drain fat.

Stir in marinara sauce, cooked instant rice, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Spoon the mixture into the par-cooked pepper halves.

Place peppers in a baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove foil, top with cheese if desired, and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until peppers are tender and cheese is melted.
