Ingredients

  • Self-raising flour100g
  • Medium eggs3
  • Semi-skimmed milk150ml
  • Vegetable oil3 tbsp
  • Salt1/4 tsp

Steps

    Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan/Gas Mark 7).

    Whisk together the self-raising flour and salt in a bowl.

    Add the eggs and whisk until combined.

    Gradually whisk in the milk to create a smooth batter.

    Add the vegetable oil to a 8-hole Yorkshire pudding tin.

    Place the tin in the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes until the oil is very hot.

    Carefully pour the batter into the hot oil.

    Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.

    Serve immediately.
