Ingredients
- Pre-seasoned pork sausage meat400g
- Ready-rolled puff pastry1 sheet (approx. 320g)
- Egg, beaten (for egg wash)1
- Saltpinch (optional)
- Black pepperpinch (optional)
Steps

Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan/Gas Mark 6). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Cut it in half lengthwise.

Divide the sausage meat into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a long log and place it along the long edge of one half of the pastry.

Brush the opposite long edge of the pastry with beaten egg. Fold the other half of the pastry over the sausage meat and press to seal.

Cut each long roll into 5 equal pieces. Place on the baking sheet.

Brush the tops with egg wash. You can score the tops lightly with a knife if desired.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
