Ingredients
- Ground beef500g
- Onion soup mix1 packet
- Water300ml
- Tomato sauce100ml
- Ready-made shortcrust pastry sheets2
- Ready-made puff pastry sheet1
- Egg1 (for wash)
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste

Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan/Gas Mark 6).

In a saucepan, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, water, and tomato sauce. Stir well.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens into a gravy-like consistency. Season with salt and pepper if needed.

Line 4 individual pie dishes or a large pie dish with the shortcrust pastry sheets. Trim excess.

Spoon the beef filling into the pastry-lined dish(es).

Cover with the puff pastry sheet. Crimp the edges to seal. Cut a slit in the center for steam.

Brush the top with beaten egg wash.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and cooked through.
