Ingredients

- Melted butter2 tablespoons

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease and flour a small loaf pan or round cake tin.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.

Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.
