Ingredients
- Ground beef1 lb
- Butter2 tbsp
- Yellow onion1 medium
- Mushrooms (cremini or white)8 oz
- Garlic2 cloves
- All-purpose flour1.5 tbsp
- Beef broth1 cup
- Sour cream1 cup
- Dijon mustard1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Fresh dillfor garnish

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 4 minutes.

Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.

Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well. Cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in beef broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low. Stir in sour cream and Dijon mustard until combined and heated through. Do not boil.
