Ingredients
- Ground lamb500g
- Onion, finely grated1/2 medium
- Garlic, minced1 clove
- Fresh cilantro, chopped2 tbsp
- Ras el hanout spice blend1.5 tsp
- Smoked paprika1 tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Plain yogurt1/2 cup
- Lemon juice1 tbsp
- Fresh mint, chopped (for garnish)1 tbsp

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, combine ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, ras el hanout, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

Shape the mixture into small meatballs (kofta), about 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get about 20 kofta.

Place the kofta on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

While the kofta are baking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing plain yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.

Serve the baked kofta warm, drizzled with the yogurt sauce and garnished with fresh mint.
