  • Dark chocolate (70% cocoa)180g, chopped
  • Cardamom powder1/2 teaspoon
  • Rosewater1 teaspoon
  • Orange zest1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt1/4 teaspoon
  • Edible rose petals, for garnish (optional)as needed

Steps

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a food processor, process the pitted Medjool dates until a sticky paste forms.

    Add the toasted chopped walnuts, cardamom powder, rosewater, orange zest, and salt. Pulse until combined.

    Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave.

    Gently fold the melted chocolate into the date and nut mixture until evenly distributed.
