Ingredients

  • White bread or Cuban bread8 slices
  • Deli ham1/2 lb
  • Roast beef (thinly sliced deli style)1/2 lb
  • Swiss cheese slices8 slices
  • Dill pickles, thinly sliced1/2 cup
  • Yellow mustard1/4 cup
  • Butter2 tbsp

Steps

    Spread yellow mustard on one side of each slice of bread.

    On four slices of bread, layer ham, roast beef, Swiss cheese, and pickles.

    Top with the remaining four slices of bread, mustard-side down.

    Butter the outside of each sandwich.

    Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grill sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing down with a spatula, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
