  • Plain flour30g
  • Milk500ml
  • Frozen peas100g
  • Instant mashed potato flakes150g
  • Butter, for mash25g
  • Milk, for mash150ml
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste

Steps

    Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan/Gas Mark 6).

    Melt 30g butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes until thickened. Stir in frozen peas, salt, and pepper.

    Gently fold in the flaked pre-cooked fish and prawns into the sauce.

    Pour the fish mixture into an ovenproof dish.

    Prepare instant mashed potato according to package directions using 25g butter and 150ml milk. Spoon or pipe the mash over the fish mixture.
