- Mayonnaise1/2 cup
- Lime juice1/4 cup

Cut mahi-mahi fillets into 1-inch pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, beer, and baking powder to create a batter. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 375°F (190°C).

Dip mahi-mahi pieces into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated. Carefully place battered fish into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.

While the fish is frying, prepare the slaw: In a bowl, combine shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, lime juice, and chopped cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.
