Ingredients
- Okra (Bhindi)400g
- Onions1 large, thinly sliced
- Ginger-garlic paste1 tsp
- Cumin seeds1 tsp
- Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder1 tsp
- Red chili powder1/4 tsp (or to taste)
- Saltto taste
- Oil2 tbsp
- Lemon juice1 tsp (optional)
Steps

Wash and thoroughly dry the okra. Trim the tops and bottoms, then cut into 1/2-inch rounds.

Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add sliced onions and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 30 seconds.

Add the okra pieces, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir-fry for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the okra is tender and lightly browned.
