  • Small pasta (like ditalini)1 cup
  • Canned lentils, drained1 (15 ounce) can
  • Canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed1 (15 ounce) can
  • Jarred tomato sauce2 cups
  • White vinegar2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder1 teaspoon
  • Cumin1 teaspoon
  • Store-bought crispy fried onions1 cup
  • Saltto taste
  • Black pepperto taste

Steps

    Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

    In a small saucepan, combine jarred tomato sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Heat through for about 5 minutes.
