Ingredients
- Black tea (Assam or Darjeeling)4 bags or 4 tbsp loose leaf
- Water2 cups
- Full-fat coconut milk2 cups
- Cinnamon sticks1
- Cardamom pods4
- Fresh ginger, sliced1/2 inch piece
- Brown sugar or maple syrupto taste
- Ice cubesplenty

In a saucepan, combine water, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the black tea. Steep for 5 minutes.

Strain the spiced tea mixture into a pitcher, discarding solids. Stir in brown sugar or maple syrup until dissolved.
