- All-purpose flour2 cups

- Milk1/4 cup
- Vegetable oil1/2 cup
- Butter3 tablespoons
- All-purpose flour1/4 cup

- Finely diced jalapeño1/4 cup
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper1/4 teaspoon

Pound the cube steak pieces to about 1/4-inch thickness.

In a shallow dish, combine 2 cups flour, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.

In another shallow dish, whisk together 2 eggs and 1/4 cup milk.

Dredge each steak piece in the seasoned flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat again in flour.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
