Ingredients
- Beef short ribs, bone-in2 lbs
- Soy sauce1/2 cup
- Brown sugar1/4 cup
- Sesame oil2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced4 cloves
- Ginger, grated1 tbsp
- Pear, grated1/4 cup
- Scallions, chopped2
- Black pepper1 tsp
- Salt1 tsp

Rinse short ribs under cold water and pat dry. Trim excess fat.

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, grated pear, chopped scallions, black pepper, and salt.

Place short ribs in a large resealable bag or container. Pour marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Grill ribs for 3-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely charred. Adjust grilling time based on thickness of ribs.
