Ingredients

- Cottage cheese100g

Rinse the rice and soak it in water for 20 minutes. Drain.

Soak soya chunks in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Squeeze out excess water and chop them roughly.

Crumble the cottage cheese.

Finely chop onion, garlic, and green chilies.

Heat cooking oil and ghee in a pot or pressure cooker over medium heat.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add minced garlic and chopped green chilies, sauté for a minute.

Add turmeric powder and coriander powder. Cook for 30 seconds.

Add the soaked and drained rice, chopped soya chunks, and crumbled cottage cheese. Stir gently to coat.

Cover the pot, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed. If using a pressure cooker, cook for 1 whistle.
