Cut paneer into cubes. In a bowl, mix paneer with curd, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp cooking oil. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil and 1 tbsp ghee in a frying pan or flat pan over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated paneer cubes until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add a little more ghee if needed. Sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.

Add minced garlic and chopped green chilies, sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Stir in turmeric powder and coriander powder. Cook for 30 seconds.

Pour in the tomato puree. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the oil starts to separate from the masala.

Add milk and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the gravy thickens.

Return the seared paneer cubes to the gravy. Stir gently to coat.

Simmer for another 5 minutes. Squeeze in lemon juice and adjust salt and pepper.
