Sastojci
- frozen puff pastry, thawed500g
- frozen cherries, thawed and drained700g
- sugar150g
- cornstarch2 tbsp
- cinnamon1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten (for wash)1
- powdered sugar, for dustingto taste

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, combine drained cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Mix well.

Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheets onto a lightly floured surface. If needed, gently roll them slightly larger.

Spoon the cherry filling onto one half of each pastry sheet, leaving a border. Fold the other half over the filling to create a strudel shape.

Crimp the edges with a fork to seal. Cut a few slits on top of each strudel for steam to escape.

Place the strudels on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg wash.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
