
Soparnik with Garlic and Anchovy

A flavorful variation of Soparnik, incorporating the salty umami of anchovies into the traditional Swiss chard filling, complemented by extra garlic.

- Anchovy fillets4
- Olive oil50ml

Prepare the dough as per the Traditional Soparnik recipe and let it rest.

For the filling: Wash and chop Swiss chard. Mince garlic and anchovy fillets. Sauté garlic and anchovies in 50ml olive oil until fragrant and anchovies dissolve. Add Swiss chard and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool.

Assemble the Soparnik by rolling out two dough rounds, filling one, and topping with the other. Seal the edges.

Brush the top with olive oil and prick.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
