- Yeast (fresh or dry)20g (fresh) or 7g (dry)
- Milk250ml
- Eggs1
- Butter50g
- Sugar1 tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp

Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar and a pinch of flour. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes until frothy.

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center.

Pour the activated yeast mixture into the well. Add the beaten egg and melted butter.

Mix to form a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Finely chop the pork cracklings. Gently knead them into the dough.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cover and let it rise again for another 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
